It seems like theres at least one place people were willing to line up for Nokias new Lumia 900 Windows Phone.
Geekwire reports Microsoft held a celebratory launch event for the Lumia 900 at its Redmond campus store. Employees are said to have waited in line for up to an hour to get their hands on the new smartphone.

After Apples iPad event, there were predictable howls that the new iPad wasnt mind-blowing enough.
This followed the iPhone 4S event where people felt disappointed.

After a decade of iPods, Apples little white charging cable seem to be pretty much everywhere these days. Open a random drawer, there one will sit. Ask a pack of strangers, Hey — anyone got an iPhone cable? and half a dozen will be thrown your way. At this point, its almost hard to not be within reach of one… until you actually need one. Another big milestone for Google and Android. The company is activating 700,000 devices per day.
That gives it a run rate of 255.5 million Android devices annually. Its impressive, but its actually lagging estimates for Apples iOS.
In Piper Jaffray analyst Gene Munsters bull case for Apple in 2013, he sees the company selling 260 million iOS devices (iPhone, iPad, iPod Touch).
